Rope access in Melbourne and Victoria

Melbourne has one of the country's largest stocks of high-rise apartments and older commercial buildings, much of it built through the 2000s and 2010s and now due for maintenance. Cold, wet winters narrow the windows for painting and sealing, so programs need to be planned around the weather.

We mobilise IRATA-certified crews to Victoria for façade inspections, sealant replacement, leak investigations, protective coatings and height safety work, and for larger painting and remedial packages where a builder or principal contractor needs rope access.

How interstate jobs work

1. Scope from a distance. Send drawings, photos and the specification. We can usually price from these and confirm details on a video call or with a site visit for larger work.
2. Fixed-price quote. Travel, accommodation and mobilisation are included in the price, not added later.
3. Mobilise. An IRATA Level 3 supervisor leads the crew, with a site-specific SWMS and rescue plan prepared before we arrive.
4. Report. Progress photos during the job and a photo report at handover.

Painting licence requirements differ between states. Our painting contractor licence is issued in NSW, so painting scopes outside NSW are quoted in line with that state's licensing rules. Rope access, inspection, cleaning, sealing and height safety work is quoted in the normal way.
