Industrial rope access in short
Tactical Height Solutions provides industrial rope access for buildings in Sydney using IRATA-certified rope access technicians instead of scaffolding. Inspection, coatings, repairs and hauling on plant, tanks, silos and steel structures, from ropes instead of scaffold or long shutdowns. Every job is supervised by an IRATA Level 3 technician, carried out under NSW contractor licence 478674C, and covered by $20 million public liability insurance. Site inspections in Sydney are free, enquiries get a reply the same day, and most jobs can start within 48 hours of an approved quote.

On industrial sites, the expensive part of work at height is often the access: scaffold around a tank, a crane for a lift, or days of shutdown while platforms go up. Rope access gets a small team to the work in hours and leaves almost nothing behind when it's done.
We carry out visual inspection and photo reporting, surface preparation and protective coatings, small repairs, cleaning, and the installation of anchors and static lines on plant, tanks, silos, conveyors and steel structures. We also use rope hauling systems to raise and lower materials and equipment into awkward places.
Every job runs under a site-specific SWMS and rescue plan, with Level 3 supervision, and we fit in with your permits, inductions and isolation procedures.

Questions about industrial rope access
Can rope access work while the plant is running?
Often, yes, with isolations and exclusion zones agreed with your site team. Where a shutdown is needed, rope access usually shortens it.
Can you raise and lower materials and equipment?
Yes. We set up rope hauling systems to move materials and equipment into places that are awkward for cranes and lifts, as part of the job plan.
Do you travel outside Sydney?
Yes. We take on industrial work across NSW and interstate, with travel included in a fixed quote.
What paperwork do you provide?
A site-specific SWMS and rescue plan, insurance certificates, licences, CM3 prequalification, and inspection or completion reports.
