High-rise gutter cleaning in short
Tactical Height Solutions provides high-rise gutter cleaning for buildings in Sydney using IRATA-certified rope access technicians instead of scaffolding. Box gutters, roof gutters and rainwater heads cleared on buildings where ladders aren't safe, before the next storm sends water inside. Every job is supervised by an IRATA Level 3 technician, carried out under NSW contractor licence 478674C, and covered by $20 million public liability insurance. Site inspections in Sydney are free, enquiries get a reply the same day, and most jobs can start within 48 hours of an approved quote.

Blocked gutters are behind a surprising number of leaks into top-floor apartments. On taller buildings the gutters, box gutters and rainheads are out of reach for a ladder, so they often go unchecked until water comes through a ceiling.
We clear gutters, box gutters, rainwater heads and downpipe inlets from the roof and from the rope, flush them where possible, and photograph each one before and after. If we find damage, such as rusted gutters, failed joints or missing leaf guards, we record it and quote the repair separately.
Gutter cleaning pairs well with the annual anchor inspection and building washing, so access is paid for once.

Questions about high-rise gutter cleaning
How often should gutters on a strata building be cleaned?
At least once a year, and twice for buildings near trees or on the coast. Before storm season is the best time.
Why are box gutters a problem?
Box gutters sit inside the roof line, so when they block, water can overflow into the building instead of over the edge.
Do you need anchors on the roof?
Yes. Work near an unprotected roof edge needs a fall-protection system. If the roof has none, we can install anchors or a static line.
Do you take the debris away?
Yes. Debris is bagged and removed.
