Rope access façade repairs in short
Tactical Height Solutions provides rope access façade repairs for buildings in Sydney using IRATA-certified rope access technicians instead of scaffolding. Cracked render, failed joints, water leaks and building defects repaired from the rope, documented with photos and finished to match. Every job is supervised by an IRATA Level 3 technician, carried out under NSW contractor licence 478674C, and covered by $20 million public liability insurance. Site inspections in Sydney are free, enquiries get a reply the same day, and most jobs can start within 48 hours of an approved quote.

Façades deteriorate in predictable ways: render cracks and drummy patches, failed joints and window seals, rusting fixings, and coatings that stop keeping water out. Left alone, small defects turn into leaks inside units and much bigger repair bills.
We inspect, repair and maintain façades on rope, so a committee or builder can deal with defects as they appear instead of waiting until there is enough work to justify a scaffold. Every defect is marked, photographed and recorded before it is repaired, so you know exactly what was found and what was done.
Our background is in rendering and remedial work. The people doing your repairs know how a façade is built and how to make a repair that blends in and lasts.

Licensing and regulated work
Our NSW contractor licence is in painting (478674C). On apartment buildings, concrete, render, sealant and waterproofing repairs over $5,000 may need a licence class other than painting, and remedial work on class 2 buildings falls under the Design and Building Practitioners Act, which needs an engineer's regulated design and a registered building practitioner. On those jobs we work as the specialist rope access contractor alongside your engineer and remedial builder. On commercial and industrial buildings, and for painting, cleaning and inspection work, we contract with you directly. We'll tell you at the inspection which applies to your building.
Why choose our rope access façade repairs
- Find defects earlyRope access inspections reach every part of the façade, not just what can be seen from the ground.
- Repair without scaffoldTargeted repairs can be done where they are needed, without scaffolding a whole elevation.
- Everything documentedDefect maps and photo records for your capital works plan, insurer or builder.
- Finished to matchRepairs are rendered, textured and painted to blend into the surrounding façade.

Questions about rope access façade repairs
What is a façade inspection and when do we need one?
A façade inspection is a close-up check of the outside of the building for cracks, drummy render, spalling concrete, failed joints and loose fixings. Strata buildings benefit from one every few years, and before any repaint, so repairs can be done first.
Can you repair defects before a building warranty runs out?
Yes. We work with strata managers and builders on defect rectification, and the photo records we produce can support a defect claim or a builder's rectification report.
Will the repairs show after painting?
Repairs are rendered and textured to match the surrounding surface before painting. On a full repaint they blend into the new finish; for spot repairs we match the existing colour as closely as possible.
Do you fix water leaks coming through the façade?
Many leaks come from failed joints, window seals or cracked render. We find the likely entry points on the façade and repair and reseal them.
