High-rise building access in short
Tactical Height Solutions provides high-rise building access for buildings in Sydney using IRATA-certified rope access technicians instead of scaffolding. Safe access to any part of a façade, roof edge or structure for your engineer, inspector, glazier or builder, without scaffold, a swing stage or a crane. Every job is supervised by an IRATA Level 3 technician, carried out under NSW contractor licence 478674C, and covered by $20 million public liability insurance. Site inspections in Sydney are free, enquiries get a reply the same day, and most jobs can start within 48 hours of an approved quote.

Sometimes the job is not ours to do, but someone still has to get there. An engineer needs to see a crack on level 14, a glazier needs to reach a cracked pane, or a builder needs photos of a façade defect before signing off.
We provide the access. Our IRATA technicians reach the spot from ropes rigged on certified roof anchors, then inspect, photograph, measure, take samples or carry out the task under your specialist's direction, sending photos and video as we go. Exclusion zones are set up at ground level and a rescue plan is in place for every drop.
Because nothing is built against the building, access can usually be arranged within days, and short visits cost a fraction of a scaffold, swing stage or boom lift.
Why choose our high-rise building access
- Days, not weeksNo scaffold design, hire or erection. Most access visits can be booked within a few days.
- Your specialist directsWe photograph, measure and do the task at height while your engineer or trade directs from the ground or by video.
- Safe by designTwo ropes per technician, a rigging plan, exclusion zones and a rescue plan for every drop.
- Pay for hours, not structuresShort visits are charged by the technician-hour, with no scaffold hire.

Questions about high-rise building access
Can your technicians take our engineer down on the ropes?
No. Only trained and certified technicians work on rope. Our technicians reach the area and photograph, measure and do the task while your engineer directs from the ground or by video call.
How quickly can you get someone onto the façade?
Most access visits can be booked within a few days, once roof access and anchors are confirmed. Urgent make-safe work goes through our emergency service.
What if the roof has no anchors?
We can install certified anchors first, or use temporary anchor systems where the roof structure suits. We will tell you which applies after a roof check.
How is high-rise access charged?
Access visits are charged per technician-hour, with a half-day minimum and at least two technicians on site, so there is always a second person for safety and rescue.
