Car park line marking in short
Tactical Height Solutions marks and remarks car parks across Sydney: parking bays, directional arrows, bay numbers, accessible bays and shared zones, pedestrian crossings and hatching. Layouts are set out to AS/NZS 2890.1 and AS/NZS 2890.6, and work is staged at night or at weekends so residents, staff and customers can keep parking. Strata, commercial and retail car parks are quoted fixed-price after a site measure.
Updated October 2026 by Naldo Neto, IRATA Level 3 and licensed painter.
In a strata or commercial car park, worn lines lead to arguments over spaces, scraped cars and complaints to the strata or property manager. A fresh layout with clear numbering fixes most of that quickly.
We clean the surface, set out bays to your existing layout or an approved new one, and mark bays, arrows, numbers, hatching, pedestrian paths and accessible bays to the relevant standards. In basement car parks we can repaint columns, kerbs and walls at the same time, including safety colours on columns and corners.
Work is staged so part of the car park stays open, with notices for residents or tenants, and cones or barriers until the paint is ready for traffic.

Questions about car park line marking
Can you match the bay numbers to our strata plan?
Yes. Give us the strata plan or the current allocation and we will number the bays to match.
Do residents need to move their cars?
Yes, from the section being marked. We stage the work and give notice so cars only need to move for a short window.
How soon can cars park on new lines?
Usually within a few hours, depending on the paint and the conditions. The area stays coned off until it is ready.
Can you change the layout to fit more bays?
We can set out a new layout, but bay sizes, aisle widths and accessible bays must still meet the standard and any development consent, so a new layout may need approval first.
